Our trainings draw from real-world practice and decades of

experience serving children, youth, and families with mental health needs.

Designed for a wide range of providers—including caregivers, clinicians, medical and social service professionals,

and juvenile justice and law-enforcement personnel

—our sessions blend interactive activities, real-life scenarios, and shared learning.

Led by trainers with both professional expertise and lived experience, each training offers an inclusive, practical, and community-centered approach to strengthening the care and support of youth and families.

TRAINING PROGRAMS & CERTIFICATIONS

WestCoast offers a range of training options and can customize trainings to meet your agency's needs. Our experienced trainers draw from research and lived experience to deliver comprehensive trainings in the areas of mental health, foster care, complex trauma, systemic oppression, commercial sexual exploitation, and more. To bring a training to your agency, contact training@westcoastcc.org.

 

WestCoast also provides free training for Alameda County providers and caregivers through Title IV-E.
