This seminar will discuss some of the central issues surrounding community-based services and give participants the opportunity to discuss their questions, concerns and fears about seeing youth in a wide range of community settings. It will provide discussion about using an expanded frame to assess and provide services to children and families in the home, school, community centers, parks and other non-traditional settings. In addition to all the complexities, delivering community-based services can provide a new way of working with youth that can allow a more expanded way of engaging and creating relationships with youth and families.
