For many caregivers & parents, determining suicide risk can be an anxiety-provoking event. Many often feel unequipped when youth are suicidal. However, it’s not uncommon for youth to experience suicidal thoughts and behaviors.

This 3-hour workshop provides strategies and tools that can be used immediately to provide a adequate risk assessment and help create a safer environments for youth.

The workshop uses a variety of teaching methods including but not limited to movie clips, lecture, role-play, discussion and case study. This workshop will focus explicitly on suicidality of youth.
