Stacey A. Katz, Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Stacey Anne Katz received her MA in counseling psychology from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte then went on to receive her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She has worked with foster youth for more than 25 years in a range of roles– as a therapist, Clinical Director, and later Executive Director at Bay Area Youth Centers, in Hayward. She also co-founded Real Alternatives for Adolescents, the first Transitional Housing Program for foster youth established in Alameda County. She has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Alameda County Foster Youth Alliance. Dr. Katz came to WestCoast Children’s Clinic as an intern and returned part-time in 2000, as the principal author of The California Endowment grant that established WestCoast’s Foster Youth Development Program. In 2003, she became the Executive Director. During her tenure, WestCoast’s revenue has grown from $0.5 million to over $12 million. Dr. Katz also expanded WestCoast’s impact on children and families by growing the organization’s research and advocacy capacity. Dr. Katz was recently appointed to the California Child Welfare Council’s Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Action Team, a statewide committee tasked with developing solutions to improve services for child sex trafficking victims.

Kelley Bryan Gin, Chief of Clinical Programs

Dr. Kelley Bryan Gin earned his BA with honors in interdisciplinary studies (English Literature, with a writing emphasis and Psychology) from Dominican University in San Rafael, California in 1994. He obtained his MA in psychology from the San Francisco School of Psychology in 1997. He earned his Doctor of Psychology degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California in 2003. He completed his pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at WestCoast Children’s Clinic. He has worked in child, adolescent, and family community mental health, juvenile justice settings, and in residential treatment for adolescents. Currently, he is the Director of Clinical Services at WestCoast Children’s Clinic in Oakland, California. Previously, he was core faculty in the graduate counseling psychology program at Holy Names University, also in Oakland. He currently serves on the board as Past President of the Alameda County Psychological Association.

Erin Rosenblatt, Chief of Training and Practice Development

Dr. Erin Rosenblatt received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at California School of Professional Psychology in Alameda, CA. Prior to her graduate education, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women’s Studies at University of Oregon. Her clinical experiences have included work with children, adolescents, and adults in community settings. Erin completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral residency at WestCoast Children’s clinic and continued delivering psychotherapy and psychological assessments to children, adolescents, and their families as a staff member. Currently, she is the Director of Training at WestCoast, where she oversees a comprehensive clinical training program for psychotherapists, marriage and family therapists, social worker therapists, and their supervisors. In addition to her work at WestCoast Children’s clinic, Erin has taught and presented on the topic of Personality Assessment and the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS). She also serves as a reviewer for the Provider Approval System with the California Psychological Association Professional Development Office.
